![]() Note that it does take awhile to get this Pokemon to appear, as it is rarer than the plethora of Yungooses and Pikipeks that you will come across. ![]() Once you see the Pokemon Center I’m talking about, walk a bit south to the patches of grass around there and do your thing to make Growlithe appear. Where there is a Pokemon Center in this area of the island, just before you can enter Route 3, is where you will want to be. In order to catch it, you will want to stay within Melemele Island, as it’s the only island that it inhabits. ![]() Growlithe, the adorably fire-y pup from the first generation, makes his triumphant return! Pokemon Sun and Moon might introduce a giant cast of new pocket monsters to catch and train, but it also kicks it old school with some classics.
